ANANTNAG, 18 Dec :- Under the patronage of Principal and Dean Prof. Dr. Rukhsana Najeeb, Department of Orthopaedics and Spine Surgery GMC Anantnag successfully organised one Day CME: ” First Ortho Edge: Advancing surgical excellence”.
The various scientific talks delivered by the experts were related to advances in Hip and Pelvic orthopedic surgeries.
Experts from various Medical colleges were invited to share their experiences related to Hip and Pelvic Orthopedic Surgeries at their respective institutions. The experts who were invited for the CME to deliver scientific talks are: Dr Altaf Kawoosa HOD orthopedics GMC Srinagar, Dr Sahil Majid HOD orthopedics SKIMS Medical College, Dr Shabir Ahmad Dhar SKIMS Medical College, Dr Riyaz Dar SKIMS Medical College, Dr Zameer Ali HOD Orthopedics GMC Baramula, Dr Javid HOD orthopedics GMC Handwara, Dr Asif Baba GMC Srinagar, Dr Ifikhar Hussain Wani GMC Srinagar, Dr Asif Sultan GMC Srinagar, Dr Ansar GMC Srinagar, Dr Mudasir GMC Srinagar, Dr Nisar GMC Handwara, Mohd Haseeb Gani Paras Hospital Srinagar and Dr Adnan Zahoor from Shifa Hospital Srinagar.
Dr Younus Kamal Associate Professor and Head was the Organising chairman for the CME. Dr Nawaz Ahmad Bhat was the Co-organising chairperson, Dr Tabish Tahir organising secretary, Dr Murtaza Fazal Ali Co-Organising secretary and Dr Kaleemul Haq was the treasurer for the grand event.
Experts from GMC Anantnag who delivered scientific talks related to the topic are: Dr Younus Kamal, Dr Nawaz Ahmad Bhat, Dr Murtaza Fazil Ali and Dr Tabish Tahir. Dr Younus Kamal HOD Orthopedics GMC Anantnag presented the welcome address and the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Tabish Tahir who was the organising secretary for the the event.
Principal and Dean GMC Anantnag congratulated the department of Orthopaedics and Spine surgery for organising such a highly successful CME. She reiterated that she will continue to support all the departments of GMC Anantnag for organising conferences, Workshops and CMEs in future as well for the academic growth of the institution and the overall improvement in treatment and patient care.
