Srinagar, Nov 2 : The Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir, has temporarily suspended all transfers, deployments, and attachments of staff until the government implements its new Transfer Policy. This decision was made following a directive from the Minister for Health and Medical Education Department during a review meeting held on October 29, 2024.
Director Health Services Kashmir as per the news agency Kashmir News Trust has issued a circular which states that suspension affects all transfers, deployments, and attachments, except in cases where they are essential for patient care in government hospitals. In such instances, prior approval must be obtained from the Administrative Department for gazetted staff and the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir for non-gazetted staff.
“All Chief Medical Officers, Medical Superintendents, Block Medical Officers, and subordinate department heads are required to comply with this directive. Non-compliance will result in disciplinary action.” [KNT]
