ANANTNAG, 01 NOVEMBER:- With profound grief and sorrow, GMC Anantnag regrets to inform that Dr Shalender Paul Singh Bali, Assistant Professor SPM/ epidemiologist Govt. Medical College Anantnag left for his heavenly abode on 31 October 2024. Principal GMC Anantnag Professor Dr. Rukhsana Najeeb on behalf of all the faculty members and the staff condoles the tragic death of Dr Shalender.
This sad news of passing away of Dr Shalender was shared in the college official group by HOD dentistry GMC Anantnag Dr Sanjeet Singh Risam. Dr Shalender, a thorough gentleman, has been working as Assistant Professor / Epidemiologist in the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine GMC Anantnag. The exact cause and circumstances of the death are still not known.
Once the news that Dr Shalender has expired was shared in the college official group, every one was shell shocked and no one could believe his eyes or ears. During the university inspection Dr Shalider was present and was sound and healthy as reported by many faculty members.
Professor Dr. Rukhsana Najeeb, Principal and Dean GMC Anantnag while condoling the tragic death reteriated that the whole faculty of GMC Anantnag stands with the family of Dr. Shalender and prays for the family to stand strong in this hour of grief and sorrow.
