ANANTNAG, 11 December:The Department of Community Medicine, in collaboration with the Medical Education Unit (MEU), successfully organized a two-day workshop on Biomedical Research Methodology at Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag. The event aimed to enhance the research capabilities of the participants and provide them with essential skills in biomedical research techniques.
The workshop witnessed huge participation highlighting the importance of research in medical education and healthcare improvement.
The Principal and Dean GMC Anantnag, during the valedictory session, appreciated the efforts of the faculty and staff in organizing such an impactful event. She emphasized the role of research in advancing medical science and encouraged participants to apply their learnings in future projects.
Felicitation of the organizing team was conducted by the worthy Principal in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Din Wani , Coordinator of the MEU, and Dr. Fouzia Nazir, Head of the Department of Community Medicine. Both dignitaries expressed their gratitude to the participants and the organizing team for their dedication and teamwork.
This workshop organised under the leadership of Principal Prof. Dr. Najeeb, marks another milestone for GMC Anantnag in promoting academic and professional growth within the institution.
