ANANTNAG, 8 NOV :- Government Nursing College, GMC Anantnag, commemorated a significant milestone in its journey towards excellence in medical and Nursing education. The institution hosted a heartfelt ceremony to honor the completion of its first Nursing batch, which commenced its journey in 2020.
The event, graced by esteemed dignitaries, showcased the collective dedication and perseverance of GMC Anantnag’s faculty, staff, and students. Prof. Dr. Ruksana Najeeb, Principal GMC Anantnag , graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, alongside Professors,HoDs, and faculty members attended the occasion as special Guests.

Principal prof. Dr. Ruksana Najeeb conveyed heartfelt congratulations to the graduating Nursing students, acknowledging their dedication and perseverance throughout their academic journey.
Organising chairperson Dr. Tajali Nazir shora (coordinator GNC) and Chief Organizing secretary Dr. Saima Habeeb Assistant Professor, expressed profound appreciation to all participants and delegates for their invaluable contributions to the success of the program. The event saw enthusiastic participation from all HoDs, faculty members, medical officers, Nursing officers, paramedics, and nursing students, underscoring the inclusive spirit and collaborative ethos of GMC Anantnag.
The completion of the first Nursing batch, thirty in number is not merely a milestone for GMC Anantnag but also a significant achievement for the broader community. As GNC Anantnag bids farewell to its first Nursing batch, it warmly welcomes the fresher students who embark on their journey towards becoming compassionate healers and leaders in healthcare. Throughout the day, Nursing students participated in various cultural events, engaging the dignitaries and enriching the celebration further. Lamp lighting and oath ceremony was also carried out by chief guest alongside with other dignitaries.
