ANANTNAG, 02 NOV :- In remembrance of Dr Shalender Paul Singh Bali, a condolence meet was held at GMC Anantang Main Campus Dialgam, this morning. The meeting was called by Principal GMC Anantnag and was attended by professors, faculty members, residents, medical officers, Desk officers and other staff. The beautiful personal traits of the deceased faculty member were narrated by the faculty members present at the meet and his simplicity and selflessness was highlighted by one and all. It is pertinent to mention that Dr Shalender was Assistant Professor SPM department/ Epidemiologist at GMC Anantnag who left for his heavenly abode on 31/10/2024.

Prof. Dr. Sajad Majid Qazi, from Department of Otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery GMC Anantnag suggested to dedicate a special corner in the department of SPM to Dr Shalender. Dr Sanjeet Singh Risam HOD dentistry stressed that we must not forget our duty to help our colleagues in the hour of need and during the days of hardship. During the meet most of the people present inside the hall could be seen with moist eyes, understandably missing the departed soul.

Principal GMC Anantnag, Prof. Rukhsana Najeeb praised Dr Shalender for the simplicity he would wear all the time and said that she could not sleep for the whole night once the sad news was broken to her by a faculty members from GMC Anantang. She stressed that we must come forward and help our colleagues and subordinates and must eas them out when the need arises.

Dr Shalider Paul Singh Bali will live in the memory lanes of all of us till our last breath and the void his loss has created is nearly impossible to get filled up in near future or anytime later.
